England vs Pakistan: Ben Stokes ruled out of third Test


England all-rounder Ben Stokes has been ruled out of third Test against Pakistan after tearing a muscle in his calf.

The 25-year-old was forced to leave the ground on day four of England's 330-run triumph at Old Trafford on Monday after pulling up while bowling.



ECB has confirmed that an MRI scan detected the tear and the Durham player will be reviewed by the medical team next week.

Stokes has scored 1429 runs in 25 Tests at an average of 33.23.

The third Test will be played on Wednesday at Edgbaston.

IPL 2023: Jason Roy joins Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have announced the signing of England’s batsman Jason Roy for IPL 2023.  The 32-year-old had previously played for the team in the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
